Sixers and Eagles still have catching up to do

Last night, I did a lot of flipping back and forth on the tv. I was going back and forth between the Raptors-Warriors and Cowboys-Saints games. After watching the majority of both, I came to the realization that the Eagles and Sixers have a lot of catching up to do. It’s become clear that the Cowboys have a more complete team than the Eagles. They have a better defense and more balanced offensive attack. It pains me to admit that, but it is true.

On the court, the Raptors proved why they are the class of the eastern conference by taking down the Warriors. Kawhi is proving once again why he is a top five player in the NBA. I know that the Warriors are without Steph and Draymond. However, beating them is still no small task. There is no question the Sixers are better than they were prior to the Butler trade. They have improved offensively, and the defense will continue to gel. We will soon find out how much ground they’ve made up on Boston and Toronto.

In the Eagles case, we will find out a lot sooner. The Birds take on the Boys after their Monday night clash with Washington. It’s what have you done for me lately in the NFL. Lately, the Cowboys have been a much better team than the Eagles. The Sixers have more time to show their worth than the Eagles. For the Eagles, the clocks ticking, and we’ll know in two weeks just how far they have come.
